What is this World?
An Unnecessary Poem
What is this world Where we grow old, sicken and die? What is this world Where disease and famine Pervade? What is this world Where war takes the limbs Of children? What is this world Where taking the land Of another is power? What is this world Where money is more Important than love? What is this world Where weapons are needed For peace? What is this world Where fear creates Greed And greed creates Suffering? This world is a world Of unnecessaries. Unnecessary this, And unnecessary that, But all of it unnecessary Suffering. What are we who seek Such things? And in whose name Do we seek them out? Yet to want them not, Is to suffer more, At the hands of those Who do. © Gavin J. Chalcraft

Questions for the ages. And still not a damned answer. It was a good planet. Powerful poem. Great title.
I've always felt the question "what am I?" is equally as important as the question "who am I?". Or at least the first question needs answering before one can attempt to answer the second question.
